I am cycling 3055 miles from one side of North America to the other; San Diego to St Augustine (West Coast to East Coast). I have set a target of two months to complete the challenge. Where possible I will be staying in a house thanks to the kindness of strangers that we meet along the way, largely found at www.warmshowers.org .
I have completed a number of challenges over the years but this is by far my most ambitious yet. In the spirit of Sunshine People, I will not be asking people for money, but for them to show me their support by completing a whopping 3055 acts of kindness for strangers.
I can not wait to hear the stories about the acts of kindness that you have completed.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment!
Chopard LUC 1860 Flying To, a special revolution
replica Chopard Watches LUC 1860 Flying T, Special Trend is an aesthetic masterpiece. Within our opinion, it uses probably the most iconic modern watch styles and adds an amazing traveling tourbillon to it.
This similarity comes to an end whenever your eyes fall on the spectacular 3. 5 Hz traveling by air tourbillon certified by COSC, which dominates the lower half the dial. Karl-Friedrich Scheufele stated: " I particularly like this we replaced the stop watch of the first watch having a more complicated stopwatch in the form of the tourbillon. Because the frame is actually mounted on a discreet however highly visible second hand, COSC uses it to calculate us. The performance from the tourbillon. "
However , how did the thought of making a flying tourbillon observatory of the same size as the initial LUC 1860 watch happen? It all started in 2019 within a vineyard called Château Monestier La Tour in Bergerac. Purchased by Karl-Friedrich, that demonstrates his consistent insistence on quality, he changed the vineyard to meet biodynamic standards during the first 3 years of ownership. We were generally there to help him celebrate this particular transition in a wonderful occasion, which included healthy consumption of their healing supplements. Accompanied by the actual splendor of viticulture, there is certainly of course a series of new fake watches for sale .
Among them is an amazing automated flying tourbillon called Traveling T Twin. The feature of the flying tourbillon is the fact that there is no bridge. Instead, all of the weight of the frame, stability wheel and escapement will be supported by the frame's pinion from behind. This is regarded as one of the greatest horological achievements and another of the masterpieces of extremely complex functional beauty, as you can appreciate what Breguet phone calls the " cyclone" with no hindrance.
7 years ago, the LUC tourbillon arrived. At that time, unlike most other 4Hz tourbillons, it was the only COSC-certified tourbillon on the market besides Patek Philippe.
I usually knew that Chopard created some of the best tourbillons in the world. In year 2004, the Chopard LUC guide winding tourbillon was released for the first time, becoming the second tourbillon to obtain COSC certification. Scheufele attributed the main part of COSC certification to each of his or her tourbillon watches to their 4Hz vibration speed. He described: " At the time, almost all some other tourbillons were running in 3Hz because this was the tourbillon escapement provided by Nivarox. All of us wanted a tourbillon that could run at modern rates of speed and had greater micro-vibration. Autonomy, so we have to design as well as debug our own tourbillon escapement. " This 4Hz tourbillon watch uses Chopard’s four-tube Quattro technology, but also comes with an upper bridge. Therefore , whenever Flying T Twin had been presented to us, I had been fascinated. Then when someone discussed that this flying tourbillon utilizes an automatic movement, I grew to become even more curious. best replica watch
The 40mm Chopard LUC Flying T Double launched at Baselworld 2019 is equipped with the LUC ninety-six. 24-L self-winding mechanical motion. The movement is created based on the Calibre 1 . ninety six movement and shows the way the movement can be incorporated in to the watch. The possibility is the exact same size as the original 1860, with a diameter of thirty six. 5 mm.
The 40mm Chopard LUC Flying T Twin's LUC 96. 24-L self-winding mechanised movement can fit into an instance much smaller than 36. 5mm because it was developed using La mecanique 1 . 96 as the foundation movement.
Switching the watch over, I experienced Proust-style nostalgia over me personally. Before my eyes may be the very familiar architecture associated with my beloved 1 . ninety-six movement, equipped with a unique micro-rotor. Karl-Friderich Scheufele (Karl-Friderich Scheufele) approached me and asked, " Did you see something common? " I replied, " It looks like a 1. 96 la mecanique, the third round is now Running the pinion of the tourbillon. " He explained using a smile: " Yes, all of us use the movement as the fundamental movement of this new hovering tourbillon. In fact , this new tourbillon movement basically occupies The dimensions of our original movement is sufficient. " replica watches for men
Suddenly, I was confused by such a tempting concept, I hardly dared to express it, just in case. I will be smashed by disappointment. Although the size of the new Flying Capital t Twin is 40 milimetre, I suddenly realized that you are able to make a smaller version in the watch. I asked Karl-Friedrich, " Does this mean you can imagine creating a flying tourbillon watch which is exactly the same size as the authentic 1860 watch? "
The LUC ninety six. 24-L self-winding mechanical movements can be seen here through the screen back of the LUC Traveling by air T Twin, Revolution Version Ref. 161985-1001. Carefully take notice of the tourbillon frame pinion at the end of the holder, which works with the third wheel on the gear train; the entire bodyweight of the tourbillon assembly is usually balanced and supported right here. LUC Flying T Dual, Revolution Edition has acquired dual certification, its The actual exquisite craftsmanship in Poinçon de Genève and the COSC certified industrial standard wathe. swiss luxury replica watches
He looked over me and smiled: " Wei, I like this thought very much. Its design ought to make it look exactly like the initial watch, but now a soaring tourbillon has been added. Tend to be we doing it together? " That was a three-year trip It started and wound up with the single timepiece I am the majority of proud of. I admit. We are biased. How could I not really?
So here is the reason why I think LUC 1860 Hovering T, Special Revolution is really a subdivision of such an remarkable watch. First of all, this view is a celebration of LUC’s 25 years of incredible dedication to technological innovation and genuine authentic watchmaking. Secondly, costly aesthetic masterpiece, using one of probably the most iconic modern watch models and adding an amazing traveling tourbillon.
Chopard LUC 1860 Flying Testosterone levels, Special Revolution is one of the littlest automatic flying tourbillons on the planet, with a diameter of thirty-six. 5 mm and a elevation of 8. 2 millimeter. In our opinion, it is the ideal size for a complex traditional dress watch (©Revolution ) Third, it is among the smallest automatic flying tourbillons in the world, with a diameter regarding 36. 5 mm along with a height of 8. two mm. In my opinion, this is the excellent size for a sophisticated typical formal watch. The world with the throes of the retro enjoy boom. This is a modern see that looks like a old style watch, but without any weak points. Just to be brazen, I did so think that if Philippe Dufour had ever made a tourbillon version of Simplicity, it may end up looking a lot like this specific.
Fourth, it does not take only automatic flying tourbillon that has obtained the Geneva Seal and COSC accreditation at the same time. Last but not least, due to Chopard LUC’s understanding, we were permitted to price this timepiece from US$121, 000, which we expect is a huge value proposition. replica Greubel Forsey Watch

Hey Nahla,
First of all i wanted to say that i am in complete awe of you, you are such and inspiration and we need more people like yourself in this world!!
For my first act of kindness, this month i bought food for the local food bank, with that i made a video to raise awareness of kindness and have challenged a family member to take part and spread more!! hopefully this is a great beginning to something we need to see that you Nahla have started a kinder world for us all to enjoy.
I'm hoping to post and to encourage my family to post here more regularly as well as on my facebook album that i have created!
Much love and light x

Hello Nahla and Jason
Congratulations on the completion of your epic cycle from the West Coast to the East Coast of America.
Another act of kindness or two. The same act but two different occasions. So I have been out and about recently reflecting and enjoying some of the nice scenic places around the area I live. Over the last two nights I have come across someone who has been out on walks with their dog and has lost them.
Two nights ago a kid was chasing after his young German Shepherd but was running tired and unable to keep up. I clocked onto what was going on and as it ran not too far by me I decided to chase it too. After a short while I managed to grab the dogs collar and bring her back to her owner.
Then against last night I was out wandering about and came across a lovely more elderly couple who were taking their dog out for a walk but she wasn’t coming back to their calls. It was a very large open area with many bushes and places to hide. I asked my friends to spread out to look for the dog and we heard the bells on its collar in a bush, I asked my friend to go one way whilst I went round to the place that the dog would most likely run out due to it being the only other opening. Fortunately as expected the dog came running out and I was there to catch her. Took the dog back back to her family who were very happy to have her back.
A small piece - baked a batch of cookies to share with my team tomorrow after busy start to the week, hopefully that will put some smiles on their faces😊
Hi Nahla, I saw your piece on Spotlight and love the idea of trying to inspire people to do little acts of kindness where ever they go rather than just donating money.
Today I was walking my dog on my local beach and I thought ‘why not collect all the rubbish that I see as I’m walking along?!’ So I did! I hope that it gave all the young and old people watching me a wake up call. Keeping our environment clean and tidy is for everyone’s benefit.
Good luck on your journey!
Hello N & J- There have been many small moments and a few larger ones since you were here at our home in AZ when I've 'committed' an act of kindness. Please know that meeting you both has changed us in a small way. I will pledge to be kinder, help others and be more aware of those in need going forward. I am so happy for you both- completing the monumental task of cycling coast to coast in America. Be well, celebrate this moment and we'll continue to follow your efforts to spread kindness in the world!!!
I have been meaning to write this for a while as myself and my boys have been truly inspired by your efforts! We have all been trying to do the little things so here are a few of the things we have done:
Making time for a cuppa with someone who was clearly having a bad time.
Volunteering to help our local scout group on a regular basis.
Donating toys and clothes to charity.
Welcoming and making an extra effort to look after a new starter in school.
Putting the bin out for a neighbour who had gone out and forgotten to do it.
It's not just been one way traffic on the kindness front though - in particular the lovely lady who took my son swimming so I could attend a school meeting and the neighbour who fixed my fence stand out in my mind!
Keep up the good work, we have a couple of kind things in the pipeline and will continue to do our bit!
Enjoy your celebrations..you deserve them!!
Jodi xx
Hi Laura, it doesn’t seem like much after all the effort you have put in cycling across America, but several things happened in one day. So I cleared out my own and my daughter’s wardrobe to give to the local charity helping a local community centre. Then I noticed litter along the road in front of where I lived so I picked that’s up.
Then I went to pick up wood from a local scaffolding company that sell off cuts of scaffolding board as, as they explained, they cannot bear the thought of sending it to landfill. After talking to the manager a little longer, I found that the money they sell the off cuts for gets put in to a pot and given to charity, so they don’t keep the money. Having heard that, I gave him more money to put in to the pot. I love it when a business thinks ethically to solve little problem!
On a recent hospital visit I helped the ward nurse change a patients bed at the end of her long shift and gave her a box of chocolates to take home x
Hi Nahla and Jason,
Since you guys started your awesome adventure, I have had kindness on the front of my mind. I have been trying to do a little, kind act every day. A few examples; I have helped a woman with a buggy down some stairs in an underground station, bought food for a homeless man, donated money to charity, helped a old man carry his bags. As well as held quite a few doors open, given up my seat on the tube multiple times and much more. What surprised me is how much of a difference those little acts of kindness can do! I didn’t expect how grateful some people were, especially just to be given a seat on the tube. I think it’s a nice reminder that you can never sure what people are going through. A chair to you, could be a throne to them.
You two are cycling/editing your butts off for acts of kindness, it’s amazing to watch your journey and see the highs, the lows, and all the Walmarts in between. Not far to go now, keep on peddling!
Good luck! X
Hello Nahla and Jason!
This act of kindness is a little late but worth putting up!! Recently, a family I babysit for have had a baby, and for around the last month of the pregnancy I was on call to look after their other two girls when the baby came! Over their Easter half term I helped as much as I could, and got the two girls some Easter eggs wrote a card for them all, as I knew how busy the house would be with a newborn and two little ones! What prompted me to post this was their appreciation for just getting the girls the eggs, they were overly thankful and surprised - and also very tired..! Last week when I was babysitting for them again, I received lovely a card with a picture of the three girls on it, to say thank you. It really is the small things that make people happy and yourself happy too!
Hope you're both doing well! Nearly there!!!!!
I've encountered several homeless people at Wal-Mart lately; I always ask if they need anything and try to get it for them. A couple of them I've been able to connect to resources that will help them further. But today I decided to make up a little "care package inventory" to keep in my car of things people often need - and their pets! I got treats for a homeless couple's dog and will also take some treats (and love!) to the lonely homeless animals in our local shelters. Thank you for being such an incredible blessing and inspiration!
Hey Nahla and Jason,
I hope the cycle is going well!
Nahla you are such an inspiration, doing so much for such an amazing cause!
My first of what i plan to be at least a few acts of kindness. It’s a small one to start with.
So i was working late the other night, after a 12 hour day I was shattered and just packing up to go home. Being the last one on the premises I was the first point of call for a security guard advising of a car transporter driver which had just arrived on site, did not know the layout of the yard and was struggling to find the vehicles for their load. The security guard was working their first shift so they did not know the yard either and was panicking as this was part of their job. Despite personally having no idea of the yard layout yet either I decided to try my very best to help out, after working it out I advised the driver of the layout and how to find the vehicles. The driver then expressed their concern about the time it takes to move the vehicles from all around the yard and that they had hoped to be heading home after a long day.
With kindness in mind I thought It would be nice of me to help out. I moved their allocated vehicles to the back of the drivers truck saving them a couple of hours allowing the driver to finish their working day much earlier than what would have been.
Once the driver had completely loaded the transporter and left the compound. I decided to go over to the security hut and asked the security guard if they would like a tour around to compound and a summary of how to locate vehicles for future reference and to save them getting in trouble in future.
A simple act of kindness which saved two strangers a lot of stress and hassle.
P.S. Nahla you are absolutely smashing it! I know it has its difficulties but you are a ray of sunshine bringing hope and inspiration to all of the people you meet and interact with throughout your truly selfless and amazing journey.
Jason you’re pretty cool too 😉
All the best!
Today I have finished my contribution to the Flourish Flock which is a flock of rare Dartford Warblers that will be auctioned to raise money for the Flourish project at Livability Holton Lee in Poole, Dorset. This is a centre for disabled and those with learning difficulties and their families to spend time taking part in a range of activities from growing vegetables to being creative with art and crafts. There will be 100 Dartford Warblers in the Flourish Flock: 50 decorated by those who take part in the Flourish project and 50 by local artists and some 'celebrities'. Here's mine ... I'm sending it off in the morning and hoping it will raise mega bucks for the cause. This post is dedicated to Sofia. xx
Catching up on acts of kindness, too.
I spent the morning working at the MDAnderson Cancer Center. I have pledged to work Tuesday mornings there. My job is to serve refreshments and lunch to the patients undergoing chemo infusion. Today there were 3 BRAND NEW patients in an otherwise slow-ish day. Oh, I hate it when we get new patients- it means the the C word is attacking more people!! Ugh- We did have one person who was ready to ring the bell. This is a symbolic event where the patient that is finishing their course of chemo reads a very moving poem and rings a large bell. There are usually tears, lots of hugs and smiles, too.
I am doing this to pay back the amazing people- Drs, nurses, volunteers that served Gary and I 2 years ago. I vowed that when I could, I would return the favor- lots of kindness happens there!!!
Take good care-
Greetings Nahla and Jason. Just spent a few minutes catching up on splogs. You are so amazing Nahla- keep up the good work and stay safe. Jason- we enjoy your video and creativity.
As an act of kindness- I passed a lone cyclist on the highway into Apache Junction a few days ago. I paused, then turned around an caught her along the road. I stopped and we had a nice chat. She is coming from Florida- headed for San Diego- then north to her home in Portland Oregon. She's traveling alone!! I asked her what her travel plans were, and assisted her with a route to her friends home about 50 miles away= safer route for cyles and a bit shorter. I'm now following her via her emails. I doubt that I would have stopped prior to meeting you and learning of your kindness challenge.
Cheers, friends. Onward!!!
Took the canteen ladies a box of scrummy chocolates for their tea break on Easter Thursday. Think its safe to say they were chuffed. :) They always have a smile and a chat with everyone and really brighten up my day, (also gave the Receptionists Easter eggs just because).
The company collected a huge number of Easter eggs to donate to local charities; they had so many they delivered them in two batches!
Sharing Easter with out of country students and giving them their first Easter egg hunt. So cool to see these people enjoy finding the treats.
17/03 I was in Nerja on a getaway and an old man with a walking stick was struggling breathing late at night on his way home... I sat him on a bench gave him my bottle of water made him rest for 10mins then I helped him get home and inside safely! Act of kindness complete xx
And then I shared that I would be donating this act of kindness for you with the group & the next morning I shared with my wonderful little mate how many people had loved what he had done for them and told him that they were all very proud of him! He was glowing with pride & happiness I can't think of a better out come from kindness 😍
08/03 we had snow so the little man I have on respite was sad because people might fall so we cleared and gritted the street and made his what I was later to learn his 1st ever snow man 😍❤️
Today I drove 140 miles one way to pick up a Motability Car for my brother. A brand new car with only 11 miles on the clock. He now no longer has to rely on a minibus and has the freedom to be driven where he wants. A good feeling even though I can’t have a conversation with him due to his disabilities, the trip was worth it as I could see from his smile he loved it. Emotional but good morning.
The children in Year 5 at the International School of Moscow, Rosinka Campus have been keen to complete some Random Acts of Kindness to help people around them but also in support of your cause. Some examples so far include: offering to carry the shopping bags of a stranger in a mall; picking up a display which had fallen; picking up belongings for a stranger whose bag and contents had fallen on the metro; putting equipment away at school. We hope to continue our acts of kindness! Good luck to you on your journey.
Not so much a random act of kindness, but a considered act of continual kindness.
Every time i go for my weekly food shop at my local supermarket I am buying additional food to put in the food bank collection box.
Enjoy the ride, remember - our greatest glory is not in ever falling, but rising every time we fall...... or in your case riding if you fall. Good luck.
Hi guys!
...so it’s not much but I wanted it to count towards your total of kindness acts! The other evening I was walking down the street in HK, headphones in listening to podcasts about what I thought to be fairly essential listening and I walked by an elderly lady sitting on the floor begging. The image of her in her 70s+ needing to beg in the streets broke my stride and my train of thoughts and my heart ... it bought me back to reality, back to the world that I was physically in. By this time I had already walked by her (and anyone who just immediately turns around from a direction they were so heavily dedicated too, makes people think they must be having a bit of a ”moment”, but hey I kinda was !
What I'm trying to say is ... It’s ok to walk back ! It’s ok not be happy that you just passed an elderly lady begging on the street, it’s ok to be mad at the system that put her there or that doesn’t support her now, these are not necessarily in your power to control. But what is, is that moment you decided to put your hand in your pockets, to rummage through your bag for any spare change you may have ... or even a hundred dollar bill. I KNOW it won’t fix her long term, but I at least hope she can get some good food in her and finds the strength to fight another day.
Good luck for the rest of the journey and keep on shining!!
Hi Nahla & Jason,
Just watched the latest 2 SPLOGS. Glad you made Lordsburg safely. Keep up the good work. I love the signs on the van!!
Keep up the good work Nahla
Another snow related one.
Prompted to add this by my brother and Jason's Dad , Steve.
Along with a few neighbours , cleared a path to the top of our road so we could get out.
Hooray we can all go back to work tomorrow :(
I’m trying a ‘stealth’ act of kindness every day - something to help someone out or make someone feel better. Good luck on your travels!
The other day I was on the train going back home from Uni and a homeless beggar came up and started saying he was very hungry and didn’t need money, but just wanted some food. So I gave him my sandwich and a few cereal bars that I had in my bag and wished him the best!
Keep it up Nahla and Jason! I love watching the Splogs and I’m looking forward to seeing you finish the ride! Hope you’re enjoying this whole experience and I’m glad to be able to feel like I’m taken on the journey with you guys through the vlogs!
Take good care of yourselves!
Meet Monty ... he's very old but his owner is even older so this afternoon I took him for a walk in the snow so his owner Marion wouldn't have to. Pippin, my pooch, was also kind as she shared her treats with him. xx
I hope your ride today went well. We are spreading the word of your amazing undertaking. Showed the video to friends we invited over for cards tonight. I talked to a nice woman at the market today, and helped her with her cart & groceries. Smiling all the while!!
Hey, sunshine people! One little contribution from me : on the way back from work few nights ago my son and I saw this old lady trying to sell her last snowdrops little bouquets... We bought about five of them to help her go home on time... I hope it helped:) Have an amazing rest of your journey!
My colleague at work got a new job and of course we wanted him to have a leaving card. He is almost completely blind however, and unable to read. I organised for everyone to type up their leaving messages so I could get them transcribed into Braille. He was so, so, so excited and so happy that we had given him his first ever leaving card that he could touch and read. I’ll never forget how much it meant to him. Good luck on this adventure! X
So far my first act of kindness since you started but hopefully not the last.
My partner had an operation on Monday 5th March, and has been in a state of recovery where she can't be alone and has taken time off of work in order to recover for the next two weeks. I've spent my week in her parents house with her, so they can all keep going to work and not halt their lives in order to keep her safe and not alone.
All the best to you on your ride, Nahla. I hope Jason is doing his job looking after you, and all of us at home are enjoying his great VLOGs about it. Good Luck!
Hello sister! Soooooo everyday I’m doing some act of kindness but you know I’m shy to post sooooo today I thought I would tell you that my act of kindness was letting a big water tanker go ahead of me in the road. Poor guy had been waiting at the roundabout for a while and so I let him in in your honor! I got 3 thank you waves so score! Peace, Love, and Light my friend...may your path be illuminated with all that is good. Xo
Hey lovely 😊 our first act of kindness was prompted by the snow ❄️ (I know crazy for the first weekend in March!!) the boys shovelled all the snow off our elderly neighbours drive and then spread grit over it so they could get in and out safely! You are awesome chick!! Stay strong xxx
Hello hello, I was sent here by the magical Daniel Garnet! For my act of kindness, I'll be volunteering my time to a crisis text line, so I may provide support, understanding and compassion to anyone in need, anyone that feels alone, anyone that feels they can't reach out to anyone else. Best of luck on your journey!
Hi , again I saw you on spotlight and I fell in love with your idea for asking for ‘random acts of kindness’ as I also feel they are so special. I bought a cold homeless man a late yesterday so I will include that as (1) I will also do a post this evening on both my Instagram platforms @Lois_diamond @the_one_woman_army and I’m going to tag Scarlet muffet and try and get her to support your projects. I will keep an eye of your journey and read and learn about new acts of kinds of try them out too! Go Nahla you will be getting a few Instagram shout out from me to support your journey xxx
Hey Nahla, I know this isn't entirely what it's about but there's a few beers on the way to give you a little uplift on your journey, you can do it!
I'll do an extra act of kindness for you tomorrow!
Best of luck!
Hey Nahla. Just heard about Sunshine people for the first time on Spotlight. What an inspiration you are. Tomorrow, I am off to do a random act of kindness but in the true spirit of a random act of kindness, only the recipient will know about it, so saying no
more on that except only a simple thing but it will put a smile
on someone's face 😊. Instead, the one I will share with you here is an idea I have piggy backed from previous posts - putting together a box of goodies, one a day for the rest of the year and then handing it over to a food bank at Christmas
So it’s been snowing in Dorset (UK) and 89 year old Jim lives on his own across the road to me! Went to check he was ok and had enough food in.. he didn’t so I got him to write a list and I walked 300 meters down the icy road to get his shopping and a bunch of daffodils to brighten his day.. 😊
Finished helping a friend fix his plumbing then fix the hole in his wall required to complete the job. Random act of kindness is my friend brought me real vanilla from Mexico as a thank you. Will make great pancakes.
So... I went to collect my dad from the MOT garage which is next to a hardware store (not the act of kindness) and saw an old man struggling to balance an oversized piece of wood between the posts in the trolley bay to saw it to fit his car as I drove past... so I swung the van back around and offerd to drop it at home in my van instead of him trying to saw it where it would hit the floor and likely be damaged... he was very happy ☺️
I'm excited for you! You really are an inspiration, such a grand soul.
My pledge on top of all the other things I do daily is this; there is a store in my town that focuses on locally sourced and or all organic products. In the deli section they have built a "giving tree" wherein folks that have a little extra money can purchese a meal and leave the card on the tree for folks thst may not be in a position to buy from them. Going to go in once a week for a month and put a card on that tree...so I'm donating amazing food to some locals in need ;)
Good luck and goddesses speed on your journey!
Daniel.
What's a good use for a big truck? Pulling cars out of the snowbank. Welcome to snowy Ontario, Canada to the out of country students and first winter driving.
My 10 year old daughter is donating her hair to the little princess trust on 8th March she is getting 32 cm cut off. This charity makes wigs for children who have lost hair through cancer and other illnesses.
“There are darknesses in life and there are lights, and you are one of the lights, the light of all lights.”
My act of kindness is on its way to you in the form of a rechargeable light set.
Much love

Doing something crafty…
My first handmade donation this year is a knitted scarf for ‘Helping Hands’ in Portsmouth who work to give homeless people food, comfort and support on the streets…next I’m learning to crochet so I can make an octopus or two for a premature baby. Can you knit, crochet, stitch? There are numerous charities out there that need scarves, hats and gloves for the homeless to keep warm, hats, cardi’s, blankets and octopuses for tiny babies, mending for those whose fingers don’t obey their commands anymore, or even just donating your old wool and needles to a women’s
refuge or a knitted square to a charity that makes
snuggle blankets for children in care. #sponsoredkindness
Maybe not a true gesture of kindness, but a start. You see, I know this crazy woman, she likes to set herself tasks that will make you tired just thinking about doing them while you sit on your sofa. If you think that’s crazy, she asks for not a penny! But instead she asks for acts of kindness towards one another. So on her latest challenge I sent her some of my wife’s cycle clothes, and shoes to help her. She really is an inspiration to all and I wish her my best wishes.
Hey Nahla, here's the first donation of many more to come:
Through a friend of a friend I met a stranger, who needed help with drones. This stranger was of course YOU! I gave you my advise and the conversation developed into something so much more... I did not know you 3 weeks ago, but now we have this incredible adventure planned! I've decided to give 2 months of my time to help you document this journey, can't wait! Thanks for the inspiration!
